Dr. David S. Humes is a professor of religion at the University of California, Davis. He is the author of several books on indigenous religion, including The Way of the Pipe: The Native American Pipe Ceremony (2006) and The Spirit of the BFree Download: Religion and Identity in the U.S.-Mexico BFree Downloadlands (2011).
Dr. Megan J. Matthews is an associate professor of indigenous studies at the University of California, Davis. She is the author of several books on indigenous women and religion, including Colonialism and Native Women in the United States (2011) and Indigenous Women's Spirituality (2016).
