Eva Schloss, Holocaust Survivor And Author Of 'Refugee Journey From Auschwitz To The New World' Hello America: A Refugee S Journey From Auschwitz To The New World

Eva's journey began in Vienna, Austria, where she lived a happy and carefree life with her family. However, with the rise of Nazism, her world came crashing down. In 1938, Austria was annexed by Germany, and the Schloss family was forced to flee their home. They sought refuge in the Netherlands, but the war soon followed them there. In 1942, Eva and her family were arrested and sent to Auschwitz.

At Auschwitz, Eva witnessed firsthand the horrors of the Holocaust. She saw her father and brother taken away to the gas chambers, and she lived in constant fear for her own life. Yet, even in the face of unimaginable suffering, Eva clung to hope. She found solace in her friendship with Anne Frank, another young girl who was also imprisoned at Auschwitz.

In 1945, Auschwitz was liberated by the Allied forces. Eva and her mother were among the few survivors. They returned to Amsterdam, where they struggled to rebuild their lives. Eva eventually married and had a family of her own. However, the memories of Auschwitz never left her.

In 1980, Eva Schloss published her memoir, Refugee Journey From Auschwitz to the New World. In this powerful and moving book, Eva shares her story of survival and hope. She writes about the horrors she witnessed at Auschwitz, but she also writes about the resilience of the human spirit. Eva's book has been translated into over 20 languages and has inspired countless people around the world.

Today, Eva Schloss is a respected author, speaker, and advocate for peace and tolerance. She has spoken to millions of people about her experiences in Auschwitz and the importance of remembering the Holocaust. Eva's message is one of hope and resilience, and it is a message that is more important than ever in today's world.

In her book, Refugee Journey From Auschwitz to the New World, Eva Schloss writes:

"I have often been asked how I was able to survive Auschwitz. I believe that it was because I never gave up hope. I always believed that I would be free again, and that I would be able to rebuild my life."

Eva's story is a testament to the power of resilience and hope. It is a story that will inspire you and give you hope, even in the darkest of times.
